Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire for Adequate Physical Activity

 

We would like to ask you about your feeling and experience about doing adequate physical activity. According to World Health Organization, adequate physical activity or an adult refers to “at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or do at least 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or an equivalent combination of moderate- and vigorous-intensity activity.”. Note. A similar English version of the scale was published by Levesque et al. (2007), but the scale above use “adequate physical activity” instead of “exercise” as the target behaviour. More importantly, we highlight the World Health Organization’s guidelines for clarifying the term adequate physical activity mean. Indeed, the stem of the items to that of Levesque et al. (2007). In our version of TSRQ, the item order has been arranged in a sequential order to aid presentation. A randomisation of the item order might be required before using the scale. Only the Chinese version of the scale was tested (see below).
